Ladies Fellowship This Saturday!
Ladies of Grace, there is a wonderful opportunity taking place this Saturday at 10:30am for you to fellowship with other ladies and learn about biblical womanhood! During this time, you will hear about future opportunities to invest in each others’ lives as well as future conferences you would enjoy benefiting from. If you are planning to attend this Saturday, please let Deb Tarter know by emailing her at rickdebtarter@yahoo.com.
Below is a video excerpt from Mary Kassian that we shared this past Sunday. We hope you will be able to take advantage of the opportunity of being blessed by other ladies and in turn seeing God use you to commend his grace to others.

Pastor Leadership Retreat
Starting today, the pastors of Grace Baptist Church will be meeting together to assess life in the body, dream together, and seek the face of God for the following year and beyond. We ask that you lift up our pastors during this time and join them in pursuing God’s heart for our church. God has been blessing us tremendously in recent months, and with the growth comes greater stewardship and opportunity to extend the gospel from our neighborhoods to the nations. May the fruit of these next couple days so align us as a people on mission that we are found in the center of God’s will and at the heart of His redemptive purposes in the world!

James White Speaking at Grace This Sunday
This coming Sunday (January 18), we are honored to have James White delivering the morning message. He is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, and the author of more than twenty books. Perhaps he is most well-known through his radio show (The Dividing Line), public debates, and videos on YouTube which have been watched by over one million viewers.
Please be in prayer for this Sunday’s services, for James White, and God’s continued work in and among the Grace family of faith!

Welcome to the New Website of Grace Baptist Church!
Welcome to the new online home of Grace Baptist Church! It is our desire that this website will be used for the spread of the gospel and the glory of Christ. There are several features I would like to call to your attention if you are visiting for the very first time. Here’s ten new features you might not be aware of (or familiar with):
1. Church Blog
The TrueGraceofGod blog (TGGB) is located on the home page just underneath the welcome from Pastor Tom Ascol. This section of the website will be updated frequently (almost daily). All kinds of information will be made available here, including news, commentary, multimedia, interviews, and resources. You can also subscribe to the blog’s feed (RSS) (if you don’t know what this is, I will explain later).
2. Podcast
All of the sermon audio is not available through our new church podcast. You can subscribe to the podcast and receive each sermon automatically into your iTunes. Quick and easy. An alternative way to listen or download each sermon is by going to our audio page.
3. Live-Stream
We have been live-streaming our services since June, although we have not announced it publicly. Currently ther are 51 videos archived in our UStream channel. We have embedded and enlarged the live-stream and chat box on our website to make it easier to find, and the recorded services are later posted on our blog.
4. Regenerate Church Membership
As many of you are aware, Pastor Tom Ascol has, for several years, been leading the charge in Southern Baptist life to return to a commitment to regenerate church membership. Resources on this cardinal Baptist doctrine is made available, including the resolution passed in 2008, quotes/excerpts, bibliography, and books on church membership.
5. Recommended Reading
Under the media section, we have created a “recommended reading” section that has a topical listing of books that can help direct you to helpful resources on an issue. The topical list will continue to grow in the future as more topics are added. We will also look to add annotations to give you a better idea of what the book is about and how it can help you.
6. Member Spotlight
Each month, we will be interviewing a family or member of Grace to get to know them better. This is a wonderful opportunity to read about how God is working in their lives and pray specifically for their needs. You can find the member spotlight page by going here.
7. Upcoming Events
We will keep you updated on all upcoming events and remind you by keeping the most current events on the home page of our website.
8. Articles by Pastors
Separate pages have been created to highlight various articles written by Tom Ascol, Ken Puls, and Tim Brister, many of them separated into categories or topics.
9. Photo Gallery
A nice feature of the new website is the ability to create photo galleries of various happenings in the life of our church. So far, we have only posted pictures from the Reformation Block Party, but many more will be uploaded, so be sure to check back soon.
10. Members Area
This is the “back end” of our website dedicated solely to Grace members. This password protected area includes a digital version of our church directory, church calendar, daily devotional (Octavius Winslow), and much more.
Take some time to browse around and let us know what you think. Comments, suggestions, and questions are welcome.
