Grace Baptist Church loves children! They are a "heritage of the Lord" (Psalm 127:3) and wonderful blessings. Because of this, all Grace Kids’ teachers are carefully screened and we work hard to provide the very best age-appropriate study materials for classes so that children can learn the ways of Christ from their earliest ages.
Sunday mornings there are Bible classes for all ages and nursery care provided for children under 3 during times of worship. Small children are welcomed and encouraged to participate with their families in all Grace services and we partner with and support parents who are teaching their children from an early age the importance of worship.
On Wednesday nights, children ages 4-9 can enjoy the exciting Praise Factory, while older kids will dive deeper into God’s Word in Seekers and the Highschool Bible Study. Classes are also held for younger children and a nursery is provided.
During the summer Grace invites the children of our community to participate in Vacation Bible School. This year’s theme is CCIA: the Christ Centered Intelligence Agency.

Sunday Mornings at Grace
2-3s learn about Jesus through the major stories of the Old Testament, using the Children Desiring God curriculum, He Established A Testimony, and the Jesus Storybook Bible.
4-6 year olds study important themes found in God’s Word, including Sin, Heaven, and how God knows everything. They use the Children Desiring God curriculum, I Stand in Awe.
7-9s study the names of God that are used in the Bible, and learn what they reveal about the character of God. They use the Children Desiring God curriculum, How Majestic is Your Name.
10-14 year olds participate in an interactive study of the Bible from Creation to Christ, using the Discovering God curriculum from Page Ministries.
Students ages 14 through seniors in high school join in with the adult class for a study of worldviews, including how different philosophies of life show up in popular movies, books and music.
Nursery at Grace
The Grace Nursery is available at each service for kids ages 3 and under. Because children are highly valued at Grace, all nursery workers are carefully screened and go through special training before joining the Grace Nursery team. Parents are welcome to drop their children off at the Grace Nursery before services begin, or at any time during the service and will be issued an emergency pager so nursery workers are able to quickly contact them if the need arrises. After services conclude, parents are encouraged to pick up their children promptly, to allow the Grace Nursery team to enjoy a time of fellowship.
Wednesday Nights at Grace
2-3s learn about the life of Jesus and the early church as they go through the major stories of the New Testament. They use the Children Desiring God curriculum, He Has Spoken Through His Son, and the Jesus Storybook Bible.
Kids ages 4-9 are invited to jump into the Praise Factory, an exciting hour of studying God through music, drama, crafts and games. The Praise Factory is a high-energy class focused on helping even young children learn what WOGLOA means - WOrship God and Love One Another!
In Seekers, 10-14 year olds are invited to dig deep into God’s Word, using the Children Desiring God curriculum, Teach Me Your Way, then participate in ongoing projects that help them learn how to glorify God in all areas of life. The Seekers class projects are as wide ranging as Sports, First Aid, Drama, Missions, Art, Geology, and Money Management.
The Wednesday night Highschool Bible Study is a focused time where teenagers are encouraged to bring their questions and look for answers as they work through the Bible, from Creation to Christ.
